First time using a new material... stained glass! This piece is a dark streaky royal blue that has a purple, amber, and bright blue iridescent sheen to it when viewed in most light. The butterfly and swirl design have been etched and then painted in silver paint, finishing it off with a sealant for durability.

The glass was hand cut and shaped by me, and placed in a pretty filigree setting. Measurements are around 44 x 34 mm. The image was also designed and etched by me.

Oh my, that is just gorgeous! I have no idea how you can make something that pretty, but I am absolutely in love with it, especially how bright the colors are.
